SAN JUAN DE LA MAGUANA.- Un infante de un año y medio de edad murió ahogado en un canal de riego en la comunidad de Jínoba Sosa en San Juan de la Maguana.
El cadáver del niño fue llevado a la morgue del hospital universitario Dr. Alejandro Cabral de esta ciudad.
Frankeli Mateo Ferreira (Hijo) de un año y medio de edad, jugaba en el patio de su casa campestre ubicada en una comunidad rural y tras su madre descuidarse el mismo por su inocencia se lanzó a un canal de riego perdiendo la vida.
El niño murió a consecuencia de asfixia por inmersión según certificó el médico legista actuante.
El cadáver le fue entregado a sus familiares para darle cristiana sepultura.
